Welcome to my webpage. You may have noticed my 1960's van circulating in the North of Cardiff. That will be me calling on my various customers, who are benefiting from a reliable and friendly handyman service.

I operate with traditional values of caring and consideration, where customers are happy to have found someone they can trust and thereby call back again and again. When a problem needs fixing, it's a lot easier if you have someone you can trust to turn to. If it's something I can't handle, I'm happy to give constructive advice on how you might proceed.

If you are looking for 1st class help at friendly prices, please do keep my number at hand. From a five minute repair, to fixings that might take half an hour or half a day. No job is too small - solving your problems around the house and garden, in a professional and honest way. Appointments made to suit your diary, and always kept on time.

Your immediate priority may be something quite small and simple - something which anybody else might feel is of little consequence. If it's worrying you and has done so for some time - do call. That is the nature of a handyman service - to fix various maintenance jobs, no matter how trivial they may appear. Living in the Heath area, I am close by and always happy to take a look. If I ever call and can't resolve your problem, there is of course no charge involved.  

Prices can only be judged as a matter of experience, but my customers are happy to call me back, which is the nicest form of feedback. I sum it up best by the logo on my van, which reads 'quality work at friendly prices'. 

Nobody is ever treated with other than kindness and respect - your repeat business is my future living. All work is guaranteed in that if you are not entirely happy, I will come back at no charge.

 Maintenance work can involve a thousand and one different areas. Mostly repairing damage or fixing newly bought items to your property. Here are just a few examples of the sort of work I typically undertake, although the list of individual situations could go on for pages....

General Maintenance & Improvements

Such as hanging pictures; Putting up shelves; Changing locks and door handles; Planing doors so they don't stick; Woodworking to fit out storage etc; Mounting blinds and curtain poles; I can sort out almost anything you have bought which may need putting together or fixing to a wall etc.

Garden maintenance

 Similarly sorting out whatever needs attention in the garden area, such as walling or fencing repairs; Replacement fencing panels and posts; Power washing patios; Repairs to walls or roofs of sheds; Putting up hanging baskets or other items bought which need fixing to the property; Cutting grass and general maintenance.

Decorating

Internal and external painting and repairs - on individual areas rather than full house re paints.

Building Work

Small building repairs to the property, mending damage before it turns into something more major.

Working with older relatives

If Mum or Dad need a hand and you want to start the ball rolling, I'm used to taking on board their situation and working with them to solve their ongoing requirements. If you are not resident in Cardiff, but looking after a dependent relative here, I can take care of maintenance for you and report via e mail with a photographic record. Having been a full time carer for some years myself, in such circumstances I am sensitive to those special needs and pleased to be your local link. On a general basis, I'm particularly happy to work with older customers, where I can see my help is much appreciated and thereby, so worthwhile to do.

Office Users

I've done lots of work in the busiest high tech offices, and know how to keep a low profile, carefully fitting in around your working activity and expensive equipment. Insured as I work - a quiet, clean and trustworthy service for all those little fixings and repairs that never seem to get attented to.
